Bethesda Softworks，「Fallout: New Vegas」の最新DLC「Honest Hearts」発表。ムービーやスクリーンショットも公開

　Bethesda Softworksは，「Fallout: New Vegas」（PC/PlayStation 3/Xbox 360）のダウンロードコンテンツ第2弾となる「Honest Hearts」の配信を公式サイトで発表し，ムービーとスクリーンショットを公開した。日本語版については現在のところ発表されていないが，2010年末にリリースされた「Dead Money」はゼニマックス・アジアが日本語化しているので，期待できるだろう。

　Honest Heartsの舞台となるのは，シリーズ初登場となるユタ州南部だ。オレンジ色の奇岩がならぶ景勝地として知られる「ザイオン国立公園」に迷い込んだプレイヤー一行が，そこで原始的な生活をしながらアポカリプスを生き抜いてきた集団に襲われるところからゲームが始まる。モハベ砂漠へ逃げる途中，対抗する勢力の争いに巻き込まれていくという展開になるようで，「正直な心」というタイトルが示すように，プレイヤーの取った行動がゲームのエンディングを変えていくことになるらしい。


　Honest Heartsには，新しいPerksが用意されるほか，45口径のピストルやサブマシンガン，火炎爆弾といったもののほか，“Compliance Regular”や“Yao Guai Gauntlets”など，名前を聞いただけでは実物が想像しづらい武器も登場する。もちろん，ムービーやスクリーンショットを見ても分かるように，新たな敵も多数用意されている。

　Honest Heartsは，北米で2011年5月17日に配信が開始される予定で，対応機種はPC，PlayStation 3，およびXbox 360。現在サービスが停止中のPlayStation Networkに関しては，「回復次第，早めにリリースする」とのことだ。
