シリーズ最新作「Sniper Elite: Resistance」の発売日が2025年1月31日に決定。「Sniper Elite 5」と同じ時系列で新たなストーリーが展開

　Rebellionは2024年10月24日，新作タイトル「Sniper Elite: Resistance」（PC / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S）のトレイラーを公開し，リリース日が日本時間の2025年1月31日に決定したことを明かした。


　本作は，狙撃や隠密行動に重点を置いたTPS作品「Sniper Elite」シリーズの最新作だ。2022年5月に発売された「Sniper Elite 5」と同じ時系列になっており，第二次世界大戦中，ドイツ占領下のフランスを舞台に，初の主役となる特殊作戦執行部（SOE）のエージェント「ハリー・ホーカー」が，フランスのレジスタンスと協力して，ナチスの恐ろしい新型兵器を破壊するというストーリーが描かれる。


　キャンペーンモードでは，武器やアイテム，ノウハウを共有しながら遊べるCo-opモードをはじめ，ミッションをこなしてフランスのレジスタンスになりきる「プロパガンダミッション」，ほかのプレイヤーのキャンペーンに枢軸軍として侵入する「枢軸侵入モード」を楽しめる。
　また，カスタマイズしたキャラクターと装備で挑むオンライン16人対戦や，最大3人のプレイヤーがチームを組んで敵のウェーブから耐えるサバイバルモードなども用意されている。
